Hey guys,
As a writer/ artist, I spend a lot of time at my desk. In fact, I go out so little that I’ve become super light sensitive. Sometimes I’m afraid exposure to the sun might make me explode into dust like a strangely tan vampire, or melt like a witch into a puddle of ink and tea.
But NS, my lovely province, has recently entered a state of emergency because of the corona virus. And now staying in like a vampire-esque hermit isn’t a choice, it’s an actual necessity. Many of us are beginning a long bout of social distancing or quarantining, and even for those who already work from home everything still seems unsettling. So first off, I just want to remind you that it’s okay to not be okay right now. You’re allowed to feel scared. Or sad, or anxious….or whatever else you’re feeling. It’s totally normal and human to feel those things.
Secondly, I want to give you something fun to take you mind off those feelings. Just for a bit. So instead of starting my draft first thing in the morning, I scoured the interwebs for 13 extra-cool things for you to ogle while self-isolating.
Was this procrastination? YES, yes it was. But it was for a good cause so that makes it okay, I think.
